The customer display
A tablet or phone facing the guest shows their order, the total, the QR to pay and their change. It mirrors one till over your Wi-Fi and can't change anything.
Till Menu (☰) Customer display
- On the guest-facing tablet or phone, open Tillmora and choose Customer display.
- On the till, open the menu › Customer display. It shows a display code.
- On the display, type the Display code, then Show this till's guest screen.
- Keep the display on the restaurant's Wi-Fi; it works with the internet off.
- Optional: under Back office › Settings › Customer display, choose whether it shows prices while ordering, or only the dishes until the bill.
Example
A café counter
An old Android phone on a stand faces the guest. While Priya rings up two flat whites, it shows the dishes; at the bill it shows the total and the QR to pay; after cash, it shows "Change 2.00".
A till with its own second screen?
Terminals with a built-in guest screen show it there by themselves.
Can a guest change anything on it?
No. It only mirrors the till.
If it goes wrong
"Can't find the till"
Check both are on the same Wi-Fi. Staff can hold the top-right corner of the display to pair it again with the code from the till.
