The driver link
A partner's rider, or a driver without the app, gets the run as a link: no app, no sign-in, the same steps.
Till Deliveries Send… a partner (or an order that's out Driver link)
- Send an order with a local partner: the till shows the Driver link as a QR code. The rider scans it, or tap Copy link and send it.
- The page shows the pickup, each stop, Navigate, Call guest, I'm here, and Delivered (with the photo when it's left at the door), or Couldn't deliver.
- While the page is open, the rider's location reaches the restaurant and the guest.
- The link works until the run ends. Making a new link stops the old one.
Example
City Couriers' rider Sam scans the QR at the counter for A-0417 to 31 Bickley Rd. At the door he takes the photo; the order shows Delivered on the till with the photo, and the partner's rate card says $9.00 for the run.
The till says the driver link needs the internet
The link is made on Tillmora's server. Send it when the till is back online, or let the partner's rider phone the restaurant.
If it goes wrong
The rider's page says the link has ended
The run ended, or someone made a new link (which stops the old one). On the till, open the order that's out and tap Driver link for a fresh QR code.
