Accept orders from tables
When a table orders, the till that accepts QR orders chimes and shows the order. Accept it to send it to the kitchen, or turn down dishes you can't make.
Till (the tray at the bottom) Review and send
- Tap Review and send on the order's card in the tray at the bottom (or the table's QR · 1 waiting badge).
- Check the dishes and notes. A big order says so: check with the table before accepting.
- Can't make a dish? Tap it › Can't make, choose Sold out, Kitchen closed, Not available today, or say why. The guest sees it and isn't charged.
- Tap Accept · send …: the kitchen tickets print from this till.
- Or Reject all… to turn down the whole order, with a reason the guest sees.
Example
One dish sold out
Table 8 orders two Margheritas and a Tiramisu, but the tiramisu has run out. Tap the tiramisu › Can't make › Sold out, then Accept · send 2 dishes. The guest's phone shows the tiramisu turned down, and it isn't on the bill.
The till was offline when the guest ordered
The order shows "Delayed: the guest ordered … min ago, while this till was offline". Accept it and let the table know it's on its way.
What does a call from a table look like?
A card in the tray at the bottom: "T4 · the bill · 1:20", with I'll do it and Done. See Calls from tables.
If it goes wrong
Nobody accepted, and the guest is waiting
After the time you set, the order shows "waiting too long" on every till, not only the one that accepts. Anyone can open and accept it.
