Create your account and restaurant

For owners and managers · updated 18 Oct 2026

Your Tillmora account is for you, the owner. Staff never need an email: they sign in on the till with a PIN.

tillmora.com Start free Create your account

  1. Tap Create account, then pick one way:
    • Sign up with Google, or Sign up with Apple (on an iPhone, iPad or Mac): one tap, and your email is already confirmed.
    • Or type Your name (optional) and your Email, tap Email me a code, and type the 6-digit code from the email.
  2. With the code: tap Create passkey with Touch ID (or Face ID, Windows Hello, your screen lock) so next time it's one touch and there's no password to remember. Can't on this device? This device can't, choose a password, or Not now (you'll sign in with an emailed code).
  3. Set up your restaurant in 4 steps:
    1. Country: this sets your currency, your tax and business-number names, and when bill numbers restart each year.
    2. Business name (the registered name, if you have one), Restaurant name (what guests see) and the restaurant's web address.
    3. How do guests order? Pick the kind of place: Café, Quick service, Full-service, Bar or Cloud kitchen.
    4. Where is it? The Branch name, the Address (optional) and the Time zone.
  4. Tap Create. (Signing up is agreeing to Tillmora's Terms and Privacy Policy; the sign-up page says so under the buttons.)

Each kind of place comes with sensible defaults. For example, Full-service opens on tables, asks for the number of guests, takes payment at the end and turns tips on. Quick service opens on a new order, takes payment when ordering and locks the till after 30 seconds. All of these can be changed later in Settings.

Example

Harbour Lane Café

Country: Australia (prices in A$, GST, ABN). Business name: Harbour Lane Pty Ltd. Restaurant name: Harbour Lane Café, web address harbour-lane. Kind of place: Café (order and pay at the counter). Branch: Circular Quay, time zone Australia/Sydney.

Example

Spice Route

Country: India (prices in ₹, GST, GSTIN). Restaurant name: Spice Route, web address spice-route. Kind of place: Full-service (tables, waiters, pay at the end). Branch: Sector 17, time zone Asia/Kolkata.

Can I change the web address later?

Yes, under Settings › Your brand › Your menu page › Change your web address. The old address keeps working for 90 days and sends guests to the new one. Table QR codes never change; reprint only menus and posters that show the address.

Google, Apple, a passkey or a password: which should I pick?

Any of them; they all reach the same account when the email is the same. A passkey is the quickest and safest: no password to forget or leak, and it counts as two-step. You can add the others later under Security › Ways to sign in. Prefer a password? Tap I'd rather choose a password (at least 10 characters).

Do my staff need an account?

No. You add them under Staff & roles, and each person signs in on the till with a PIN. Only owners, admins and managers who use the back office need an email login.

How long is it free?

Every restaurant that joins before 1 May 2027 is free until 30 April 2027. You can see your plan under Settings › Subscription.
